MMS: Making Chocolates

Last Monday all the chocolate lovers gathered at Sokoladas café/store in Pilies. The Chocolate Master himself was waiting for us to share his magic chocolate-making secrets. The evening started with tasting some Belgium chocolates and a lecture on the quality of marzipan and the importance of the right technique to create the best chocolates. All the ladies got dressed into special “uniforms” and watched the Master in action. The presentation included making molded chocolates with rum filling and decorating chocolate covered Florentines. After that we had a chance to try our hands at making and decorating chocolates – black, white, milk chocolate, marzipan, nuts and Florentines at our disposal. To add some excitement to the process, the Master promised prizes to the 2 winning chocolate designs. Congratulations to Jurgita and Erin!
